Heroes of the Second World War

Storyline: Heroes appear in different guises but all possess the same qualities; bravery, courage, passion and pride. As the German armies swept all before them, Britain stood alone to face this seemingly unstoppable force and an entire nation put their best foot forward. Some individuals would be celebrated with medals but countless hundreds of thousands of others would pass unrecorded or even unknown. Outside of Britain the men and women of the French resistance, the people of Malta and countless soldiers, sailors and airmen fought bravely to rid the world of such a poisonous evil.
