Recurring Gig

Storyline: Jodie and Tyler are two commercial actors who land a gig with a New York-based creative firm to film a series of ads for an energy utility based in Seattle. The energy company is attempting to promote natural gas and fend off electrification in the region, and Jodie and Tyler make the perfect mother-son combo for their propaganda campaign. In between shoots at the studio, where they learn how to pronounce "Puget Sound" and extol the benefits of cooking on gas stove tops, Jodie and Tyler attempt to break out into new roles in their personal lives, from their relationships and identities to their dreams of being taken seriously as actors.
