Storyline: A comedy in which the noted and rotund Swedish comedian, Edvard Persson, plays the title role (Baldevin), as a waterfront tramp leading his chosen life-style of indolence. A friend urges him to wage a courtship of a rich widow, which he does and manages to get involved in many humorous situations in the process.
