Storyline: The wedding of Bak Kai, an Isan groom, and Sofia, a Muslim girl from Pattani in the South, is not an easy journey for the couple who must navigate the differences in culture and religion. Adding to their challenges is Bung Lee, the fierce older brother of the bride, who is determined to obstruct the wedding by any means and reclaim his sister.
