Storyline: Cesar returns to Rome once again and is able to persuade the Senate to appoint him as all-powerful emperor. Always concerned about the welfare of the senators, he does everything he can to make their work as pleasant as possible. He also appoints his loyal friend Lucio, who has a secret relationship with Tito's wife, as senator. Meanwhile, Tito Pullio also realizes that his wife is being unfaithful to him.
