Storyline: A feel-good comedy about aging, friendship and new directions, On Borrowed Time is director Yasir Al Yasir’s follow-up to his 2012 film Murk Light, which earned him the Best Short Narrative Award at the Abu Dhabi Film Festival. Taking place in and around a Dubai retirement home, the film follows four elderly men who appear to be settling in for the long haul—that is, until one of them receives an unexpected and mammoth inheritance.
