Storyline: Tardi en noir et blanc is a documentary portrait of French comic auteur Jacques Tardi, one of the world's most significant graphic novelists. Director Pierre-André Sauvageot followed Jacques Tardi for two years to create this intimate insight into Tardi's creative process: from his research into political and historical topics to the actual drawing of his graphic novel panels.
