Storyline: Martine is a young woman of aristocratic origin who does not know the man to whom she is promised. She decides to set up a coup with a schoolteacher friend. She is responsible for flirting with the fiancé under the identity of Martine. The man is totally disappointing. Then Martine learns that he has used the same trick.
