Storyline: 1929. The owners of a roadside hotel-a man and a woman-kill the merchant. To solve the murder, the investigator sends his undercover agent to the hotel. A passionate love begins between the agent and the woman. She confessed to her lover about the murder. The killer managed to escape, and the woman was sent to prison.
