Storyline: Katja and Johann are two teenagers who are the best of friends. They spend most of their time in a ruined fort, fantasizing about an ideal world. Their relationship becomes threatened when Johann is taken ill with leukemia, and Katja's mother is undecided on whether to stay with her husband or leave with her lover.
