Storyline: The orphan little girl Sokar lives with the gang headed by Atris and Zakia who train children to beg and pickpocket. Atris tells Zakia that Sokar is the daughter of a wealthy man and that her uncle incited Atris to get rid of her to inherit his brother. What will become of the poor girl?
