Storyline: Sagan om ringen is a 1971 Swedish live action television film in two parts, adapting the first part of The Fellowship of the Ring. The film was inspired by the progressive rock album of the same name, by Bo Hansson (in turn inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings).
