Biography: Luz Eugenia Cortés Rocha, better known as Busi Cortés (Mexico City, June 18, 1950 - June 21, 2024), was a Mexican filmmaker, screenwriter, documentary filmmaker and professor. Her work as a director and screenwriter has been relevant for her country's cinema for her feminine perspective and for making visible the political presence of women in Mexico.
