Overview: After ten years with Def Jam Recordings, Logic approaches his final album under the label. Over the course of ten days, he retreats to the comfort of his home studio alongside his team of friends and close collaborators. With an emphasis on analog equipment and returning to the roots of hip-hop; Logic utilizes a shipment of over one hundred vinyl records to sample from. The JT Clemente-directed documentary captures Logic’s creation of “Vinyl Days” along with intimate moments of late studio nights, family time, and everything in between.
Overview: The 45 minute film follows Logic through the making of the album which has a lot of contributions from guest artists, musicians and instrumentalists. Even his wife Jessica Andrea has guest vocals on several songs and skits. There is one scene where the rapper gets very emotional about the content of the album and how much love he gets from his dedicated fans.
