David Byrne
Biography: David Byrne (born May 14, 1952) is a Scottish-American musician most associated with his role as a founding member and principal songwriter of Talking Heads, which was active between 1975 and 1991. Since then, Byrne has released his own solo recordings and has worked with various media, including film, photography, opera, and non-fiction. He has received Grammy, Oscar, Tony, and Golden Globe awards and has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Co-hosted by Chris Stein, from Blondie, and directed by filmmaker Amos Poe, the hour long show took television where it had never gone before: to the edge of civility and "sub-realism" as Glenn would put it.
