Overview: Ria, the only daughter of the Hilman family and a student majoring in electronics, falls from an escalator. Pance, a trainee doctor who helps her, detects abnormalities in her. After a thorough health examination, it is learnt that she is suffering from a malignant blood cancer. Ria insists that her parents not be notified. She wants to give a child as a substitute to her parents. Pance is willing to do it. However, this event leads her parents to find out her real condition. Ria’s grandfather encourages the marriage. Ria faces her death with fortitude. Her son is born safely, while she herself cannot survive.
