Overview: A man and his ship are sunk in Lake Constance and the dead man's son is missing. For the detectives, he is the prime suspect. Until an anonymous tip-off about a prisoner hidden in a box turns up... In the second film in the series “Seeland - Ein Krimi vom Bodensee”, the new boss Elena Barin and local Achim Schatz have a complicated story to solve and at the same time have to find out how their cooperation can work, because Achim Schatz feels thwarted by the concentrated and relaxed Elena Barin. The screenplay was written by Stefanie Veith and Michael Comtesse and directed by Holger Haase, as with the first crime thriller from Lake Constance. The impressive images were created by cinematographer Lena Katharina Krause.
