Biography: Jappe Claes is a Flemish actor, mostly active in the Netherlands. Claes was associated with De Trust and de Theatercompagnie from 1996 to 2009. From 2003 to 2014 he was artistic director and teacher of the directing course of the Amsterdam School of the Arts. From 2011 to 2017 he was one of the regular actors of Het Nationale Toneel.
