Overview: Doodslag (Dutch for "Manslaughter") is the story of Max, a paramedic who is repeatedly hindered in performing his duties by loutish behaviour. As his ambulance hurries towards a complicated childbirth, some youths prevent Max from reaching the distressed woman in labour. Spurred on by the emergency and the incendiary words of a TV pundit, he reaches a boiling point and forcefully hits one of the men obstructing his ambulance. Max's strike has far-reaching, unintended consequences.
Overview: Twenty year old Lynn studies Psychology in Amsterdam. Now that she is living on her own, she is re-shaping her live and developing her own identity. This makes her extremely self-conscious. She is constantly thinking on how she is seen by other people, what people may think of her, what she should and shouldn't do. Her self-consciousness gets in the way.
Overview: 'The Pinto Edition' is a dark comedy in which a couple score a bargain camper van but get more than they bargained for. Made for the 48 hour film project Amsterdam by a fully professional crew, this amusing short has almost no dialog, a great score, strong acting by a small cast and was much awarded. Created by new creative partnership Elwin Bes and Jasper Klimbie.
