Biography: Paul Pope was a seminal figure for Newfoundland filmmaking. Co-founding the Newfoundland Independent Filmmakers Co-operative (NIFCO) in 1975, Pope produced and directed hundreds of projects for film and television in the province over the course of nearly 50 years.
