Biography: Kazuko Sugiyama (杉山 佳寿子, Sugiyama Kazuko, April 9, 1947) is a Japanese voice actress, narrator, stage actress, and professor at the Osaka University of the Arts (voice actor course in the Department of Broadcasting). She is affiliated with Aoni Production. Her real name is Kazuko Shibukawa (渋川佳寿子, Shibukawa Kazuko). She was born in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, Japan. She is most known for her roles in the anime series Heidi, Girl of the Alps (voice of Heidi), Dr. Slump (voice of Akane Kimidori), and Urusei Yatsura (voice of Ten).

Overview: The third film finds Ataru transformed into a pink hippopotamus, which sends Lum chasing after the wicked magician responsible, with catastrophic results. With Lum gone, her friends decide that there is no reason to remain, and so Tomobiki slowly returns to normal. The highlight of the film is a high speed chase scene with an angry Lum flying after the mysterious Ruu through the city at night and into a hall of mirrors (and illusion ). Overview: Heidi (1974) Japanese anime series by Zuiyo Eizo (now Nippon Animation) based on the Swiss novel Heidi's Years of Wandering and Learning by Johanna Spyri (1880). It was directed by Isao Takahata A feature-length film Heidi in the Mountains, aka The Story of Heidi, was edited from the series by Zuiyo (which by then was a separate entity from Nippon Animation, which employed many of the TV series' animation staff) distributed in 1979. All cast were replaced excluding Heidi and the grandfather. This movie is also the only incarnation of the Heidi anime to have been released commercially in the United States in English (on home video in the 1980s).
