Biography: Anthony Harvey (born 3 June 1931) was a British filmmaker who started his career in the 1950s as a film editor and moved into directing in the mid-1960s. Harvey had fifteen film credits as an editor, and thirteen as a director. The second film that Harvey directed, The Lion in Winter (1968), earned him a Directors Guild of America Award and a nomination for the Academy Award for Directing.
