Biography: Yonatan (Yoni) Rechter was born in Tel Aviv, Israel. He is the son of Israeli architect Ya'akov Rechter and stepson of Israeli actress Hanna Meron.[1] He attended Tichon Hadash high school. At sixteen, he composed the music for the hit song "Tears of Angels" (דמעות של מלאכים, "Dma'ot Shel Mal'achim"), written by his high school classmate Dan Minster.[2] Rechter served in the Israeli Artillery Corps band. In 1972, after his release from the army he joined the Israeli band Kaveret as a keyboardist, collaborating withGidi Gov, Danny Sanderson, Alon Ole'archick and others.[3] He stayed with the group until it disbanded in 1976. Rechter is married to Dafna, a former art teacher, with whom he has two sons.

Overview: "Kemo gedolim" is a collection of well known Israeli, children songs sang by Ariḳ Ainshṭain and others. In between the songs embedded short skits starring Moni Moshonov and Tsevi Shisel , who embody two porters hauling a giant crate up a winding staircase and unexpectedly run into Ariḳ, a group of kids, jugglers, clowns and storytellers emerging from the crate. Kaveret: Pictures from the Life of a Band

Overview: In the summer of 1990, six years after the first and successful reunion of Kaveret, the band members reunited for another concert tour under the title "Kaveret Returns". The film "Kaveret - Photos from the Life of a Band", released in 1992, documented this concert tour held in Yehoshua Gardens Park in Tel Aviv, in Caesarea Amphitheater, in Arad and in Eilat. The late director Zvi Shissel accompanied the members of the band on their journey across the country, heard stories and memories from them from the beginning of the journey and documented Kaveret on stage and behind the scenes.
