Overview: Drama critic Larry Mackay, his wife Kate and their four sons move from their crowded Manhattan apartment to an old house in the country. While housewife Kate settles into suburban life, Larry continues to enjoy the theater and party scene of New York.

Overview: Ambitious but thwarted, Rae Smith meets handsome Marine Paul Saxon, (of the Saxon department store chain), as he passes through Lincoln, Nebraska, on his way home from World War II. There's a definite spark between them but circumstances intervene and he leaves town without her. Later she learns he's married. Determined to make it as a fashion designer, Rae moves to New York and becomes a great success. One day she happens to meet Paul again and again there's that spark but he's still married so, as a form of escape, Rae moves to Rome to set up shop. Once again she meets Paul and finally they begin an actual affair since Paul's shrewish, drunken wife, Liz, won't give him a divorce. Time passes, the affair continues whenever time and place permit, but then, Paul's young son finds out about Rae and Rae's back-street world begins to crumble.

Overview: This extra on the Dr. Kildare movie series DVDs was originally an unaired pilot in which an older and more experienced Kildare has assumed the role of mentor after the passing of Dr. Gillespie. Kildare and his intern, Dr. Grayson, have a patient needing brain surgery after a head injury but his wife doesn't want to consent. Meanwhile, a young nurse trainee gets emotionally involved, making her wonder if she will be effective as a nurse. When the patient finally consents to surgery, the anesthesiologist informs the doctors of complications, leading Kildare to a diagnosis of beryllium poisoning. Meanwhile, Kildare's intern is wanting to leave Blair and start what appears to be a lucrative practice. Kildare, in an effort to keep the intern at Blair, intervenes to get another departing intern the job. The surgery is a success, with both the intern and the nurse having learned something about themselves from the experience.
