Overview: Adapted from his autobiography, the film recounts the story of Hiroito, The King of Boca do Lixo (a region in downtown São Paulo of the fifties where various nightclubs, strip joints, prostitution, bars, and drugs can be found). Hiroito was a well born bohemian and at the age of 21 was accused for the murder of his father, who was violently stabbed over 40 times with a razor. Hiroito was not charged, however two months after the death of his father, Hiroito bought two guns and moved to Boca do Lixo and became one of the most dangerous criminals of the region.
Overview: In Sao Paulo, Janaína and João take care of each other. She has epilepsy. He is in a relationship with a man who prefers to keep his distance. Above their lives floats the vague trauma of a mudslide that may have buried men and machines alike. Together, they try to protect their bodies from the evil that seems to spread like a fever.
Overview: A successful businessman is arrested on suspicion of committing financial crimes. In the sitting room of his house, four characters – the driver, the nanny, the lawyer and the wife – discuss how and why the businessman was arrested and, consequently, try to understand their own lives.
Overview: A family with financial difficulties has a brilliant idea: to make their daughter Lindinha get pregnant of the famous singer Ivan Cláudio to inherit a lot of money and get them out of the choke. They plan the right day that the girl should go out with the star and begin to follow his performance schedule. They just didn't count with one thing: the jealous Jennifer, wife of Ivan, who will not let this story cheap.
