Overview: This film is an adaptation of a short story of the same name, written by Kao Yi-feng. It tells the story of a green scarab beetle who has transformed into human form. As in the book, he is named "Vitamin." Vitamin surreptitiously enters people's apartments and observes and imitates human behavior. Through Vitamin's perspective as a bystander, the plot leads the audience to explore the unknown stories of various residents. However, Vitamin cannot understand the complex thoughts and desires of humans, and his short encounter with one person is fraught with doubt, conflict, and
despair.

Pao-chun comes from a poor background, and realizes he must acquire a skill to provide for his mother. He leaves for Taipei and becomes an apprentice in a bakery, Finally, Pao-chun overcomes the odds and makes his dream red-bean bun, but disaster strikes when he loses both his childhood love and his mother.
Overview: Four-year-old Yang Yang lives with his single mother in Osaka. He has not seen his father, whom his Taiwanese mother met while studying in Japan, for months. A picture falls into his hands that shows the three smiling happily in front of a fireworks display. The painted picture brings back memories of the happy days as a family. The film sensitively accompanies the emotional world of the individual family members and accompanies worries and moments of happiness with which one can identify across national borders.
Overview: Do Over follows five characters over twenty four hours on the last day of the year. As the interrelated stories proceed, the connections between the lives of the five characters begin to reveal themselves and their stories unravel. By depicting five different characters at emotional crossroads, Do Over examines the struggle of overcoming our greatest fears; the unknown of what lies ahead in the future, the fading value of our existence in the present, and most of all, irreversible mistakes made in the past that may catch up to us.
