Biography: Christian Scheider (born 21 February 1964) is an Austrian politician (Team Kärnten, formerly FPÖ or BZÖ/FPK). From 1999 to 2001 he was a member of the Carinthian state parliament and from 2009 to 2015 mayor of the state capital Klagenfurt. In 2021 he was re-elected mayor.
