Overview: This film is an expression of the way of life of adolescents as told from the point of view of the teenagers themselves as they rebel against the world of adults. Susan (Nunu Datau), Dody (Adjie Massaid) dan Rini (Cornelia Agatha) are students at SMA 2000. They have unconsciously formed a kind of gang. Overview: The arrest of Haji Jalaluddin during his sermon leaves a strong impression on the hearts of Hamid and Halimah, his followers. Halimah is a wife who is taken for granted by her husband who is pro-Dutch. Hamid is the son of a rich merchant who falls into poverty after being branded as a rebel. His mother takes him to Padang to be raised by the family of Haji Jakfar, who has a daughter, Zainab. Hamid then studies at Padang Panjang and meets old friends, Fakhrudin and Zainudin. Hamid and Fakhrudin have more similar views with their teacher, while Zainudin is more radical. The latter organises a rebellion and fails. The Dutch keeps arresting people. Hamid, disappointed by Zainab’s marriage to someone else, sails to Mecca. Halimah is left to organise the fight for freedom but in the end, is also captured by the Dutch. The film’s message is that a physical fight for freedom, without being based on religious morality, will become meaningless.

Overview: Mulyono returns to his village, Tembarak, after serving time in Nusakambangan prison. His village is in the midst of a village headman election. There are two strong candidates with opposite attitude. One believes that any means is justifiable while the other one follows the straight road. Mulyono finds his wife murdered. She was previously suffering from a mental illness. His daughter is missing and his son is now a criminal. Mulyono then becomes the scapegoat in the village riot during the election. Overview: Murti (Sally Marcelina), the daughter of bankrupt farmer Murdali (Wenda Wijaya), is offered up as a bride to relieve a family debt owed to loan shark Juragan Hamid (Mawardi Harland). Before the forced marriage occurs, Murti and her boyfriend Yusman (Johan Saimima) run off and marry one another is a mystic ceremony witnessed by the spirit of the dwarf shaman Mbah Jagaraga (El Koesno). Overview: Susan is often disturbed by a horrifying female ghost, which has weakened her body. Her parents and lover, Charles, who are skeptical at first, eventually look for a shaman who can heal her. Initially the shaman’s spell works but then the ghost switches her target to the sister of Charles, Yuni, and results in her hanging herself. At this moment, Charles is reminded of his ex-girlfriend, Delia, who died by hanging herself out of her desperation because Charles got her pregnant and refused to take responsibility. Later, Delia possesses Susan and scary things start to happen. Veins and faces are slashed, windows and glasses are broken and shattered to pieces.
