Overview: An undercover marshal wants to arrest famous bandit Kao Pao Tien, and he wants his daughter to help him find the castle where the bandit lives. He mistakes a young lady for Kao Pao Tien's daughter and saves her life while she is in an inn where she met her father's friend, who was Kao Pao Tien's man. She discovers that Kao Pao Tien was her mother's brother-in-law and that he tried to rape her once when he was drunk. He fought with the young lady's father and hurt her mother with a poisoned dart. During the 18 following years, the lady's father trained her to fight in order that she takes revenge for her mother's death.

Overview: An orphan boy seeks revenge upon a villainous kung-fu sect that killed his friends. He chances upon two old kung fu masters who are fighting to determine who's the better fighter; one is a drunk, the other puffs constantly on a pipe. Fei Fei convinces them to teach him kung fu, and then he'll fight using both of their techniques and will discover which is superior. So Fei Fei ends up fighting his way up the ranks of the evil sect with the two old men trailing after him, evaluating the battles and counting how many of their individual moves Fei Fei uses. The final battle with the white-haired master of the sect, using new kung fu moves inspired by dancers in a brothel, is amazingly gymnastic. --Bret Fetzer

Named as such for their use of martial arts, these boxers are revolutionaries who believe that spirits protect their bodies from foreign guns. They even dupe the Empress Dowager, who gives them her royal blessing to fight the foreigners.
