Biography: Beverly Roberts was only a teenager when she was accepted for dramatic training. Years later, she began singing in venues, including nightclubs. One fateful night, a talent scout from a movie studio heard her beautiful voice and so began the next chapter in her life. She acted with some of the biggest names in Hollywood, including Al Jolson, Humphrey Bogart, and Pat O'Brien. She decided to return to great love--singing, as well as acting on stage and television.
