Overview: Three friends, "Farhad," "Reza," and "Ahmad," make a pact in childhood to meet each other twenty years later—in the spring of 1973. By 1974, Reza has become a pickpocket, Farhad is a millionaire, and Ahmad is a police officer. Farhad can inherit his father's vast wealth only if he reconciles with his wife, "Christine," but he is unwilling to do so.
