Overview: The film is based on real events be tween the years 1978-1980. Theo Grangier, a man without education, with no parents nor family, is involved in the robbery along with two recidivists. But the policeman is killed during a robbery. But Theo is the only one who is arrested and charged with murdering an officer of laws, even though the other two perpetrators are not found and Theo is not conclusively proved to be a murderer. He is later sentenced to death. The trial galvanizes the French society - Jean-Paul Sartre comes out publicly in favor of Theo Grunge...
Overview: A 12 year old girl and her 8 year old brother live one week with their mother and the next week with their father. The girl blamers her mother, a super businesswoman for the divorce and turns all her anger on her. She prefers the weeks with her father who is flat broke after leaving his bank job to give people free hugs on street corners. Her brother channels his sense of injustice into the battle to save the planet. As the school year progresses and her parents struggle to mend their lives and as the girl approaches her 13th birthday, she learns to see the world in a new way.
Overview: Loudun, October 1947. Leon Besnard and Marie celebrate their eighteenth wedding anniversary with friends and Ady, a former German prisoner they have "adopted". A few days later, Leon dies. Louise, a friend of the couple's and probably Leon's mistress claims that, on his deathbed, the deceased told her that Marie was poisoning him. The whole town soon condemns Marie and she is arrested and sent to jail. Did she really kill Léon as well as twelve other members of her family as she finds herself charged with?
