Overview: During the early Heian period, Fujiwara no Yoshifusa and his adopted heir Mototsune maintained control over the Imperial Court. Mysterious incidents frequently occurred in ancient Kyoto where a procession of demons would strut through the streets monthly on the day of the Rat, killing anyone who saw them. By chance, Sugawara no Michizane becomes acquainted with Ariwara no Narihira, the head of the police and judicial chief. Recognizing Michizane’s talents, who from a young age was a brilliant and renowned scholar, Narihira asks for his help in solving the mystery. Thanks to the cooperation of Shoki, an obstinate female shopkeeper who deals in Tang Dynasty goods, Michizane gradually draws closer to solving the mystery. Overview: Black Jack: A Lucky Bet is an original script based on one of Osamu Tezuka's masterpieces, "Black Jack". It was first performed in 1994 by the Flower Troupe led by Anju Mira to great acclaim. In November 2022, at the start of the 50th anniversary year of the "Black Jack" series, it was performed again in a nationwide tour by the Moon Troupe. Kanato Tsukishiro plays the role of Black Jack, an unlicensed surgeon with divine skill, dramatically expressing the message of Tezuka's works, such as the deep love for humanity and the preciousness of life.

This man calls himself “Jacques Valette,” and begs to be allowed to work at this dreamlike place. With his arrival, the whole world of the Moulin Rouge is about to be turned on its head! The musical is followed by a Japan Traditional Revue titled "Welcome to Takarazuka." The theme for this revue show comes from the beauty of the four seasons in which the spirituality of the Japanese people is based on. Kabuki legend Bando Tamasaburo is a supervising director of this show, which marks his first collaboration with the Takarazuka Revue.
