Overview: A fortune teller fails to help a prostitute who is facing a deadly calamity. When he meets a young boss of a tea restaurant, he predicts that his bloodthirsty tendencies will lead him to a prison sentence for murder.
Overview: A confrontation between two Hong Kong immigrants – one a cab driver from Mainland China, the other a lawyer and refugee from Pakistan – spells disaster for their families, especially the lawyer's young son.
Overview: Realising that he will be defeated in no time during a police showdown, a thug shoots himself to force the cops to cease fire and take him to the hospital. In the hospital, he claims human rights to refuse immediate treatment in order to buy time for his underlings to rescue him. The detective in charge sees through his scheme but decides to play along so as to capture his whole gang once and for all.
Overview: Wah was a hot-headed gangster until he was sent to prison for a triad murder. Upon his release, he opens a laundry shop in an old district where his estranged wife was last seen. Wah's peaceful days end when greedy developers show up in his neighbourhood eager to buy off a rundown building. Upstart gangster Happy promises to evict all tenants by any force necessary. Wah tries to look the other way until Fa, one of the residents in the building, and her son are attacked by delirious drug addicts. Despite his age, Wah decides to protect the building's helpless tenants by recruiting a group of rehabilitated gangsters to fend off the hostile aggressors.
