Biography: Daniel Roland Lanois is a Canadian record producer, guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter. He has released several albums of his own work. However, he is best known for producing albums for a wide variety of artists, including Bob Dylan, The Neville Brothers, Neil Young, Peter Gabriel, U2, Emmylou Harris, Willie Nelson, Martha & The Muffins, and Brandon Flowers.
