Overview: Wu Hongyan is a female bailiff in a regional court in West China dealing with women awaiting execution—more often than not, sentenced for crimes of passion. Every weekend, without much luck, she looks for love at the Good Luck Matchmaking dance, until she meets the husband of one of her prisoners.
Overview: In the early years of 20th century a strange plague a ghost sightings haunt Phoenix City, a small town in China. A group of doctors is sent to the local church to investigate. While skeptical at first, they soon start to fall victim to the ghosts themselves.
