With most companies offering a wide variety of services, from internet to phone to tv, it should come as no surprise why they would want to bundle all those services up together as one entity. Convenience plays a huge part in customer service, and it is simply easier to pay one bill for everything rather then having it all split. The pros are fairly obvious. You get all your services as one bill that make it much easier to pay, and you will often get certain discounts for bundling up your various services that can save you money. So it ends up not only being easier, but also ends up being cheaper as well.

Another thing that some companies will offer is slightly increased service. What I mean by this is that they often have promotional items that can only be obtained by bundling your services. These items can be a wide variety of things, from an additional cable box for your tv or something else along those lines. So you are truly getting a great deal by bundling your services, on top of the ease of use.

So with all these benefits, you might be wondering what kind of Pros and Cons of Bundling services there even are? It seems like pure pros at this point. Well when discussing it's cons it really depends on your own personal tastes and habits. For example, if you rely mostly on cellphones then having a land line bundled in ends with you paying for something you do not even use.

There are a lot of services like that, where you may just want to use a specific one or two and do not want any of the others. There was a point when telecommunications companies would require a phone service to get their DSL service. But with consumers wanting just the DSL without requiring a phone, they switched that up, now offering DSL as it's own service.

So if you are in a situation like that, where you only want a specific service, then bundling obviously does not help you. You are just throwing money at something you never even really use. Do not be tricked into thinking you are actually saving money, because in this situations you really are not saving anything.

For the most part, when it comes down to the Pros and Cons of Bundling services, it is all about convenience. So it really is not pros vs cons, but more convenience vs cost. You need to decide whether you would rather have the convenience of paying one bill and maybe even getting a small discount on your services. Or if you are on a tight budget and want to save as much money as you can by only paying for what you need and use on a regular basis.

If you use all the services you are bundling and have the money, then I would highly recommend you bundle as it is simply a smart choice. If, on the other hand, you only use specific services or might be on a limited budget, then simply taking the time to pay individual bills is certainly the cheaper option.
